When I was small, Japanese products were the subject of ridicule for their inferiority. Then as I grow up, they became well known for their quality and innovative. Who haven't heard of Sony, Sharp, Sanyo, Honda, Toyota, Panasonic etc etc. The list is endless. Nowadays however they have fallen on hard times. Most of them are struggling to keep up with the times. Korean firms have suddenly emerged to take the shine off the Japanese. Samsung in particular have grown by leaps and bounds. For the moment, they rule the world, just like Sony did before. Will it be the same in ten years time?
