Islam and Science

There was a program called Science and Islam on the History channel. It was about the Islamic scientists and their works during the heydays of Islam from the 9th to 15th centuries. A fascinating insight on their researches and findings which later became the foundation of modern science as we know today. Unfortunately, those glorious days are long gone. Can Islam ever reach that level again? Only God knows.
