The main reason we were in Lumut was to buy ikan bilis (anchovies). They have some real nice and tasty ones, especially those from Pangkor. I was there a few months back. Bought a packet. Turned out it was so good and tasty we just had to go back for more. This time we bought a plenty, enough to last a few months. There are all kind of ikan bilis but the famous ones are the blue eyed anchovies (ikan bilis mata biru).
