Yesterday I went to do my passport at the immigration office in Sri Rampai, Wangsa Maju. I was pleasantly surprised at the way business is being conducted there. It was fast, efficient and caring. In less than two hours, I completed my business of making three passports, for me, Akid and Maisarah. I said caring because when they saw me with two babies in tow, I was given special attention. The form was brought to me, not me having to ask for it. I don't have to queue. Instead the moment I was ready, that is after filling the forms and getting photostat copies of the necessary documents, I was shown straight to the counter. At the counter, everything was fast and efficient. Really great service. Kudos to the immigration department. I salute you. You have come a long way from those days when it took two months to get a passport.
