Named after the first prime minister of Malaysia. This mosque is situated in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia. Construction started in 1997 and completed in 1999 at a cost of rm250 million. Its architecture is a combination of Malay, modern and Persian design. The mosque has 7 domes, the biggest of which is about 50 metres high. It has one minaret which is 116 metres high. The main prayer hall can accommodate about 10000 people. Besides the main prayer hall, the mosques also has a library, lecture hall, auditorium and a dining hall. The ablution plus toilet facilities are located beneath the main hall.
That's some of the things a tourist guide must say.
