Time waits for nobody

I thought time would pass by at a snail's pace once in retirement. I would while away the time reading the newspaper, watching the TV and surfing the internet while fighting away the boredom of the days that would be slow, long and dragging. How wrong was I. For all I know, time seems to move at just the same pace now, if not faster. Tomorrow is Friday already while it seems only yesterday I was performing the last Friday prayer. Soon, the new year is upon us already. Wow! Come to think of it, its frightening sometime the way time moves. Just like what the Quran says.
