Meetings are necessary in any organisation. Without meetings, things cannot get going. But problems starts when meetings drag on too long. It gets worse if it is a monologue, meaning only one man is talking i.e. the chairman. It becomes useless if after the meeting, no action is done to execute whatever has been agreed at the meeting. Suffice to say, in my almost 30 years of working life, I have seen it all.
