I attended an Energy Security conference last week at the Shangrila Hotel KL. Malaysia needs to seriously look at its energy options quickly if it don't want to be caught unprepared in the future. There are certainly many options but at the moment, with the kind of technology available, nuclear looks like a good bet. But we have to move fast. Already 10 yrs is gone when we backtracked on this option.Now we have to start all over again. With the IAEA putting in much tighter rules and regulations, it sure is much harder now!
