When you are retired, public holidays are a non event. That's what happened to me. Didn't realise Monday will be a public holiday until yesterday. By then it was too late to make any holiday plan. Just as well as all the popular places will be extra crowded. It is a known fact but we still decided to try a day trip to Genting on Sunday. Sure enough the traffic was unbearable. The road leading up to Genting was impossible to drive, jam packed with cars. Finally ended up at Bukit Tinggi. The place was also crowded although not as bad.
