Went to Penang on Friday. Was there for two night before driving back to KL on Sunday. In between went to my hometown in Selama on Saturday for a short meeting with old classmates from my primary school days. Can't remember when was the last time I went to Selama. Must be many many years ago. The town hadn't changed much. The restaurant where my father used to have his office is still there by the football field. Still a mamak restaurant just like the old days. My primary school is still there but I couldn't find the house that I used to live in Jalan Mentri. Its not there anymore. The house in Taman Merdeka is still there although Taman Merdeka has changed so much I can hardly recognised it. All in all, it was worth the trip. I will do it again if I can find the time.
