yeah......holiday
Next week I'm planning on taking two days leave, Monday and Wednesday. That means if I include the weekend and the Deepavali holiday, I will be away from the office for five days in total. Wow! That's great. After almost 10 months of working again, the Monday blues is beginning to make its presence again. For a while, I had fun working. There's still plenty of fun now but every now and then, the Monday blues takes over the thought. Don't know what I will do during the holidays but it will be rest and more rest. As for the other things, I have not decided!
Finding a new routine
Its been over a month since I started riding a bike to work. Up till now I'm still trying to find a new routine because the old one has changed. Now I leave the house at about 7.15 -7.30 am as opposed to before when it was 6.15am. I reached office about 8 am when before it was about 7 am. Hence a lot of things has changed. These days after breakfast, its work time. As a result I don't have time for blogging in the morning anymore. That's why this part of my life has been somewhat neglected a bit. But slowly, I will find a new routine and blogging will be part of the routine for sure.

I found the solution Alhamdulillah
Alhamdulillah, I tried using the cooler kit. Put it on the forehead. It has the effect of cooling the hot spot. Somehow it worked on my head. The pain subsided after a few hours. What a relief. Otherwise the pain was unbearable!.
Terrible pain
Akid had been sick for a few days before that. I must have got it from him. Anyway, taking some medicine after flying back to KL, my sickness was bearable but the pain in my head was something else. The effect of the panadol wouldn't go away. The pain was terrible. The doctor prescribed me a painkiller but it had no effect. Thirty years ago I went through the same thing. That's how I know I can't take panadol, especially those bought from the shops. Its very very painful.
Sick
The whole of last week I was sick. On the flight to Bintulu I was already feeling it. At Bintulu airport, the air condition seems cooler than normal. That sure is a sign of falling sick. On reaching Bakun, after a three hours ride in a four wheel, my body was already aching everywhere. What made it worse was I took panadol bought from a shop, which is a no no for me. By the next morning, my head was having acute pain, because of the panadol. It was terrible!

Perhaps
I'm back at KLIA after more than a month. Its Bakun again. Have to go again for some work. The last time I was there was during the fasting month. After that I was in Kucing and Bintulu but didn't go to Bakun. This time its Bakun for sure. On TV the night before saw the last minute goal by Southampton. From the look of it Man U will be struggling this season. Can't win their matches unlike before when winning was a habit. Perhaps they have loss confidence. Perhaps its the new coaching staffs. Perhaps its the new manager. Perhaps ......
Sunday
Its a Sunday. I'm resting at home. What else? Sleep and more sleep. Akid is having high temperature. Hope he gets well soon. I'm flying to Sarawak on Monday. My mind will not be at peace knowing his condition.

What is happening?
Yesterday I felt heavy on the neck. It came quite suddenly, at about noon. My body felt weak as well. I found standing difficult, cause I felt like fainting. Don't know what it was. High blood pressure? I took a few glasses of water. That eased the heavy feeling a bit. Within half an hour, I felt strong enough to walk my normal pace. After that, I slowly felt normal again although my neck feel as if there is still some weight on it. What is happening?

What can I say?
Heard about the verdict while in Melaka. Can't say I was surprised. On the contrary, I was actually expecting it. What can I say? Only in Malaysia! Yes......only in Malaysia!
Resting in the house
The holiday is almost over. Tomorrow its back to work. Was in Seremban for some unfinished business and in Melaka for a holiday. Melaka was fun, the hotel was great but there were too many people. It was crowded. There was a long queue for breakfast. Had to queue during checking in. The lifts were always full. Its the holiday season I guess so what can I expect? I had a great time anyway! Saw a tourist guide I knew from my tourist guide class going about her business. Can't help but think about what could have been.

Off to melaka
Stayed overnight at a hotel in Senawang. Today will be heading to Melaka. Enjoy a bit of a holiday after having work all these while. The last time I took four days leave, I had to come back to work for three of those days. Those were critical times then. I had to come back, no question about it. No complain. The critical times are not over yet but at least, there's some breathing space. Hope I can have a peaceful holiday now.
Rent, sell or what?
Alhamdulillah the grill has been done. The lighting, fans and curtain hangers were done earlier. That's about all I guess. The house is now ready for occupation. Not sure yet what to do. To rent, sell or what? Most likely I will rent out the house. Bring some income at a time when I most need it.

He must be crazy!
This morning I saw something that is very scary, for me at least. I was riding my bike at about 60km/h. To me, that's fast, very fast. At that speed I am at full concentration, both hands on the handle and I'm at full alert. There's no room for error. Then I saw this rider who was riding at about the same speed. He had only one hand on the handle. The other hand? Was sending a message through the handphone! Wow! He must be crazy, I said to myself. The risk he was taking. Just not worth it!

It a wonder!
We take for granted that year in, year out, Manchester United will be among the title contenders. No matter what combination of a team Alex Ferguson put out, they will always perform to expectations. Alex Ferguson job is a no brainer. After all, we are talking about Man U, aren't we? When he retired, we thought it would remain the same, whoever is the manager. Suddenly, Man U is struggling. How come? Now I begin to appreciate the job that Alex Ferguson was doing. Its not easy. Its a wonder how he did it, year in, year out!
Alhamdulillah
After almost a month of riding the bike, I am now beginning to get the hang of it. I don't struggle with my balance anymore if another motorbike pass me by. I ride between the vehicles during traffic jam with more confidence. I am able to change lane easily now unlike before when I had problem with that little move. Its smooth sailing nowadays. I ride my own ride, oblivious to what other riders are doing. Alhamdulillah.

A spanner in the works
Despite all the frantic effort last Friday, at the end of the day, we still failed to execute what we wanted. Very very disappointed. I don't really know what transpired but by about three in the afternoon, I thought I had everything sewn up. All that was needed was to get the papers ready. The nitty gritty of the contents had all been agreed. Suddenly, at about four, an unexpected spanner was thrown in the works. That thwarted the whole thing! Sigh.......

RM 2
There's a shop in Senawang, Seremban that sells everything for RM 2. There's some good bargain to be had there. Whenever I'm in Seremban, I will make it a point to stop, just to browse around. For example slippers they are selling for RM 4.99 in KL is RM 2 here. There are better choices too. There are many others like note books, pens, etc etc. Its a real bargain. I wonder how they make their profit!

I'm on my motorbike!
This morning I went to the mosque for the morning prayer. Came back, read the Quran and guess what, still had plenty of time to get myself ready to go to work. Wow! Gone are the days when I'd be rushing to work so very early in the morning in order to avoid the traffic jam. Now, anytime I can go. This morning I left the house at seven. I reached my office about half past seven. Sure, the traffic jam was there all right but it don't bother me none. I'm on my motorbike!
